A Caring Hand, LLC is a non-medical home care agency founded by two sisters driven by a mission to support families through their home care business. Growing up with a deep respect for tradition and community, they witnessed the struggle of individuals torn between caregiving responsibilities and maintaining their own lives. Determined to bridge this gap, they founded a Caring Hand, LLC to offer compassionate care, allowing families to keep their loved ones at home while balancing life’s demands.

Meet the Founders

​

Born from the profound understanding that "it takes a village," sisters Beatrice and Marie Toupou embarked on a mission to extend a caring hand to their community. As first-generation immigrants hailing from guinea, Conakry, they were instilled with the inherent value of communal support from a young age. With the influence of teachers, neighbors, friends, coworkers and acquaintances who are now considered family, the Toupou sisters recognized the transformative power of collective nurturing. Harnessing this ethos, they founded a caring hand, LLC, a beacon of support and compassion in their community.

Beatrice Toupou is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 15 years of experience. Currently serving as a nursing assistant, cardiac tech, and outreach worker for community health centers, Beatrice is dedicated to improving healthcare access and outcomes for underserved communities. With an undergraduate degree in public health, she is currently pursuing a master's in public health to further enhance her expertise. Beatrice's passion for public health drives her commitment to making a positive impact in the healthcare field.

Marie Toupou's journey in the healthcare realm began in 2013, where she embraced various roles ranging from home health aid to pharmacy technician. As she traversed different facets of healthcare, including serving as a constant companion in both inpatient and outpatient settings, Marie’s dedication to uplifting others never wavered. In 2020, Marie achieved a significant milestone, graduating from nursing school and embarking on her career as a registered nurse (RN). Undeterred by challenges, she now sets her sights on further academic pursuits, actively pursuing her doctorate degree to become a family nurse practitioner.

Driven by a profound sense of duty and fueled by the unwavering support of their community, Beatrice and Marie Toupou exemplify the transformative impact of compassionate care and the enduring strength found within the embrace of a caring village.
